This role serves as a strategic partner to the Executive Director, focusing on grant management, grant writing, and community partnerships for a Boys & Girls Club. The position requires strong writing skills to develop logical, accurate, and persuasive grant proposals and written documents. Key responsibilities include building relationships across various stakeholders including staff, members, parents, supporters, media, vendors, and other non-profit groups to establish community links. The role involves assisting with budget development and financial oversight, researching and writing government and foundation grants, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements and funding agency restrictions. Strong project management skills are essential to coordinate multiple initiatives, maintain detailed information systems, compile program data and outcomes reports, and monitor grant restrictions. Additionally, the position involves identifying grant opportunities at local, state, and national levels, maintaining a grants calendar, collaborating with program staff to develop funding proposal concepts based on program needs, serving as a resource for grant-funded programs including budgeting and goal setting, and producing regular reports on grant status and outcomes.

Teen Unit Director - Poplar BluffThe Teen Unit Director is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and evaluation of a specific unit for youth between the ages of 6 and 18 within a designated Club. Unit responsibility supports our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character and Citizenship. The Teen Unit Director also provides leadership and supervision to assigned site directors, youth development professionals and volunteer staff. The Teen Unit Director helps manage budgets and controls expenses as assigned as well.
